In this video I describe the results from and hardware used by one of the component experiments of my honors undergraduate thesis on bistatic weather radar systems. A CW T/R system is constructed to identify the component structure of targets in a way similar to deriving the correlation coefficient metric of NEXRAD WSR-88D radar by painting them with RF at 1.28GHz in CP and listening to the return to compare relative strength of V & H polarization components.
