The 79-year-old president posted the video as he embarked on yet another unhinged late-night social media rampage on his Truth Social platform on Thursday. Trump posted dozens of times within the space of an hour, including sharing a video that purported to back up his false claims of 2020 election fraud.

At 59 seconds into the video, an AI-generated clip of the Obama's faces superimposed onto monkey's bodies suddenly appears as the song The Lion Sleeps Tonight plays. The post has drawn swift backlash across social media.
