Specifically I will compare how to sell gear on KEH and eBay.

Option 1 - KEH

KEH is a used photography equipment dealer based in Atlanta, GA. They are one of the places I recommend to buy used film gear. But you can also sell your gear to them as well.

The downside is you might not fetch as high a price since KEH still has to turn around and sell your item at a profit. The upside is that you can sell your gear quickly and not have to deal with customer service or returns.

Option 2 - eBay

eBay is the largest online marketplace with 147 million users. So naturally it’s a great place to sell your used camera gear.

One of the upsides is that you can tend to get the best price for your gear because users will bid up the items. The downside is that ebay takes 10 percent of your earnings and you are responsible for providing customer service to the buyer.
