Описание: आज के इस वीडिओ में डॉ राहुल सक्सेना ने Hepatic Encephalopathy या ग़फ़लत के बारे में बात की है ॥ Hepatic encephalopathy या गफ़लत एक ऐसी बीमारी है जिसमे किसी पेशेंट के ब्रेन फंक्शन में कमी आने लगती है। ये बीमारी confusion या personality changes से शुरू होकर comma तक जा सकती है ।

इस बीमारी का सबसे प्रमुख कारण लिवर सिरोसिस है । लिवर सिरोसिस के मरीज़ों में लिवर अपना वास्तविक आकार खो कर कठोर हो जाता है और अपना नार्मल काम काज नहीं कर पाता है, जिसकी वजह से काफ़ी सारी problems देखने को मिलती हैं। Hepatic encephalopathy या गफ़लत तब होती है जब लिवर शरीर के अंदर से ammonia बाहर नहीं निकाल पाता है और ये ammonia ब्लड में घुल कर दिमाग़ में चला जाता है ।
