Travel Notes
We flew into Pisa
From the airport to Pisa central station, get the Pisa Mover Shuttle
(Lots of signs for this at the airport.)
(We bought tickets on the Trenitalia App from the airport to Lucca)
You scan the barcode to get on the Pisa Mover Shuttle.
Note: you have to check in all train journeys and you can do it on the app.
Once at Pisa Central, the trains to Lucca are around every 30 minutes during the day.
It looked as though the regular trains to Lucca go from the same platform 2 Ovest (2 West)
There is left luggage at the East end of platform one.
We left our luggage there and walked to see the Leaning tower of Pisa (25 minute walk)
