The beach is divided from the reservation by the mouth of the Quillayute River. Several magnificent sea stacks rear out of the surging coastal waters here, the tallest of which are twin rocks rising just offshore.

Rialto Beach is composed of an ocean beach and a coastal forest, with just the right amount and size of driftwood. This beach also has plenty of chert, red poppy jaspers, orbicular jasper, as well as terrestrial and true agates you can search for.
