Laser Image Transfer on the Gel Plate!

Описание: Laser image transfers on the gel plate are tricky. Heads up — it will take a few tries and experimenting to get it to work!

Here are my tips:

📌 Adjust the color levels of your image before you print.
👉 Change saturation to 0 if it’s a color image, so that it becomes black and white.
👉 Up the contrast a few levels to punch up the dark areas.

📌 Print the image at least 2 times to build up the toner on your paper. Maybe more!
📌 Roll out a thin amount of paint on your plate.
📌 Lay your print down quickly, apply pressure and lift within about 6-8 seconds! As you saw in the video, I did a little check on my before lifting all the way. I laid it back down and rubbed the white areas of the photo a bit more to pull more paint off the plate.
📌 Climate can affect how fast your paint begins to dry. Lay the image down on wet paint and lift before it begins to dry and adhere to the entire sheet (ruining your transfer).
📌 Of course, the printer matters too. I use a Brother L3270CDW with Brother TN-227 black cartridge and print onto regular copy paper.
