Cutty & Cole are an emerging rap duo from Calgary, featuring rapper Halfcut and producer Cole Young (aka Cole the God). Blending their individual strengths, they craft raw, introspec- tive, and hard-hitting music with gritty beats, sharp lyricism, and intricate production.

Cole Young, a Nêhiyaw/Canadian producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist, has toured and recorded with the experimental metal band Trench, the hardcore band Grave Maker, and the duo Suicide Kings. With over a decade of experience, he's worked with artists like M.O.P., Apathy, and Tech N9ne, recognized for his sample-heavy, drum-focused production.

Wal Martian is a Calgary-based audio producer, engineer, and recordist. He's a 2010 Banff Centre Audio Engineering Practicum graduate who has scored feature films, short films, and commercials. As Wal Martian, he creates sample-based instrumental hip-hop music that repurposes sounds from old records and rearranges them into new compositions, producing at his studio called Grime Shoppers in Calgary. His work is characterized by low-tempo beats that blend dark, melodic textures with elements of jazz, fusion, rock, and soul, with albums including "Martian Law" (2007) and "The Secret Life of Walter MIDI" (2016)
