Siemens G120C Hardwired Control: On/Off, Reversing, and Speed Potentiometer

Описание: In this video, we move beyond the keypad to set up a basic hardwired control circuit for the Siemens G120C drive. This is an essential skill for field applications where a PLC might not be present. We walk through the physical wiring for start/stop control using a switch, a reversing circuit, and a speed potentiometer for analog input. We also demonstrate how to wire an analog meter to display the actual motor speed.

We utilize the Siemens Default Setting 12 (Standard IO with analog setpoint) to map our physical terminals. You will learn the importance of common reference points, including a critical troubleshooting step involving the digital common terminals. By the end of this tutorial, you will understand how to interface with the drive's 24V discrete inputs and 0-10V analog signals for full manual control.
