An anti-derivative is a function whose derivative is the original function. In other words, it is a function that reverses what derivative does. Another word for anti-derivative is integral.
To deal with more complicated functions, we have the following properties to help us:
• If F(x) is an antiderivative of f (x) , then k ⋅ F(x) is an antiderivative of k ⋅ f (x)
• If F(x) is an antiderivative of f (x) and G(x) is an antiderivative of g(x) , then F(x) ±G(x) is an antiderivative of f (x) ± g(x)
Question:
1) f(x)=5sinx+2x^(−1/2)
2) f(x)=7secx tanx+1/4 x^(−6)
3) f(x)=8/x−3/√(1−x^2 )
4) f(x)=(x^2+3x)/√x
