1616 is part of a 43 bus order built and funded by the Metrolinx Transit Purchasing Co-operative Initiative in 2016 for Hamilton Street Railway. The units placed in the order replaced HSR's 2003 and 2005 New Flyer D40LF units, with the remainder expanding the fleet.
This was recorded on August 29th, 2024 on an iPhone 15 Pro.
