The Rayalaseema Express (12794) is one of South Central Railway’s most iconic trains, introduced on 2 October 1977. Named after the Rayalaseema region of Andhra Pradesh, it connects Nizamabad, Hyderabad, and Tirupati, covering all four districts — Chittoor, Kadapa, Anantapur, and Kurnool.
Upgraded to Superfast status under Mission Raftaar in 2017, it now runs as 12793/12794 Nizamabad–Tirupati Rayalaseema Express.
Watch this legendary train in action — a perfect blend of history and speed!
