Описание: According to the information I have this is a non Commercial recording made in 1959 with Clancy Hayes, piano and Jimmy McPartland cornet.

The focus of this channel is of course Clancy Hayes. I am soon to complete his "Vocalography" detailing both the commercial output (285 songs) and 375 non commercial recordings. Of course it is likely, and hoped, that more non commercial recordings will turn up. The San Francisco Traditional Jazz Foundation has done a superb job in preserving rare music and memorabilia from the Great Jazz Revival.
The SFTJF Collection was given to Stanford University in order that it may be maintained and preserved for all time. Thanks to the generosity of Charles Huggins a project was funded to digitise almost 2000 items from the Collection and these are now on the SFTJF/Stanford University website. Much of the material is publicly available. Other material is yet to be digitised, but to produce the Clancy Vocalography I was given access to all material that included Clancy Hayes. The staff at Stanford University Library were incredible helpful and their work in turning old recordings , including paper tapes, into superb soundings digital transfers is incredible. The non commercial items I am posting are from my own collection amassed over 40 years, I do not post items from the SFTJF Collection or Charles Huggins Project which is why I invariably recommend a visit to SFTJF/Stanford as part of the video.
Once the Vocalography is complete it will be publicly available.
