The Art of Saving Sea Turtles 2020

Описание: The third annual Art of Saving Sea Turtles, presented by Turtle Island Restoration Network and Clay Cup Studios, celebrates local sea turtle conservation and community art in the Gulf of Mexico and on Galveston Island!

We honor Turtles About Town and the artists, sponsors and individuals who have faithfully supported our mission. We also introduce the locations, artists and sponsors of 19 new sea turtle statues that will bring the total number of colorful Kemp’s ridleys to 50!

Turtles About Town is a community art project created by Turtle Island Restoration Network and Clay Cup Studios showcasing the City of Galveston and the conservation efforts of Turtle Island Restoration Network to protect endangered sea turtles on the upper Texas coast.
