AIT offers a complete range of guide tubes to assist you with your borescope inspection. A guide tube can help guide a flexible borescope or retrieval tool to areas that you may not be able to reach.

Dekoron tube is a simple way to guide flexible borescopes across gaps, in vertical directions and around complicated bends. Dekoron tubing can be cut to size and will maintain whatever shape you wish.

Dekoron guide tube is available in diameters of 9.5mm and 12,7mm to accommodate borescopes from 4.0 to 8.4 millimeter diameter.

Rigidizers assist with directing borescopes to a specific straight direction. Commonly used during turbine borescope inspections.

Rigidizers are available in lengths of 6 to 48 inches and accommodate borescope diameters of 4.0, 6.2 and 8.4mm

The tube gripper can be used to make manipulation of a flexible borescope easier. The tube gripper is commonly used during orbital weld inspections where to inspector needs to frequently rotate the borescope.

Custom borescope cooling tubes are available to allow inspection in high temperature applications. A standard flexible borescope will operate up to 212 degrees Fahrenheit a cooling tube will greatly increase this to allow inspection of critical assets.

Centering devices are also available for flexible borescopes to help center the tip of a borescope in pipe inspection to speed up inspections and improve the image. Centering devices may also assist in protecting a flexible borescope where the tip may otherwise plow through debris at the bottom of pipes.
