Our thoughts. Our actions. Our attitudes. Our values.
What do we not control? People’s opinions.
The weather. The economy. Past events. Random chance. By focusing only on what we can influence, we conserve our mental energy and avoid unnecessary suffering. This doesn’t mean being passive—it means being wise in where we invest our efforts.
Practice:
Each morning, write a quick list: "Today I will focus on what I can control. I will let go of what I cannot."
Review your list at night to check how well you followed this mindset.
