Terrytoons: "The Old Fire Horse" (1939) - 16mm 4K scan

Описание: Here's something unusual and totally unexpected for the followers of this channel and for Terrytoons fans: "The Old Fire Horse" (1939), scanned in 4K from a beautiful 16mm of my collection.

This rare "lost" Terrytoon (not so lost after all) has been found on a film reel that I recently acquired, and since its rarity I decided to scan it in 4K and upload the full short on YouTube so anyone can watch it.
At the moment, only the color remake of this cartoon is available online, "Smokey Joe" (1945), that uses several animations from the original 1939 version but with different dialogues and scenes. Now you finally have the chance to take a look at the black and white release of it, as featured on the "Barker Bill Cartoon Show".

The print is extremely detailed and with a great quality, the black and white is amazing on this 16mm print. Luckily the print has no splices and it's in perfect shape, only the closing title is missing. For the rest is a great film print of a nice cartoon, that it has been fully scanned in 4K with "wet gate" process to make it look at the best.
