Open source and OpenBIM complement each other, helping empower the users and processes of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry. This presentation talks about the history of free software in the AEC industry, and the work done by the OSArch.org community to bring OpenBIM into our digitally enabled future.
This talk was presented at the buildingSMART Summit 2020 under the technology section.
