Описание: Coelophysis was a slender, agile carnivore that lived in what is now the South Western United States of America, between two hundred and twenty eight million to two hundred and one million years ago, in the Triassic's later stages. This, as we will see, is a particularly well studied and closely known dinosaur, which, combined with its prominent place in popular culture, has seen it break through to the limelight as the quintessential dinosaur of the Triassic in the eyes of the public.

Going so far back in time, however, this will be a journey unlike many of our other documentaries, where we will enter a world cloaked in mystery and packed with animals unlike anything alive today. We will be exploring how this early theropod lived and hunted, how it was discovered, and what its world would have looked like when it stalked its Late Jurassic home over two hundred million years ago. Join us on a trip through time as we explore the discovery and life of Coelophysis - perhaps the best known dinosaur of the Triassic Period.
