Hong Kong’s Kai Tak Sports Park is set to open on March 1, 2025. The new HK$30 billion (US$3.9 billion) complex is expected to be a key engine for the mega-event economy the city is pushing to develop. The park’s 50,000-seat main stadium will host the Rugby Sevens tournament in March and four shows by pop group Coldplay in April. As anticipation builds ahead of the park’s official opening, the Post returned to the site to test again how long it takes to get to and from the Kai Tak Stadium. And with tens of thousands of fans expected to pour out after the shows, we tried to find out the options available for after-party venues.
