Seven years ago, this property had a failing pond and a cracked concrete waterway stretching more than 250 feet through the landscape. The system leaked constantly, had no biological filtration, and was completely out of balance.

Today, it’s something entirely different.
A living stream that winds naturally through the property with bridges, pathways, hidden viewpoints, and quiet places to sit and listen to the water. Over time, the landscape has matured, moss has settled into the stone, and the feature now looks like it has existed here for centuries.

But what you see on the surface only tells part of the story.
Underneath this system is an incredible amount of engineering. Massive gravel foundations were installed to stabilize unstable ground. Concrete cloth was used to encapsulate the entire system and eliminate leaks. A constructed wetland filtration system works below the surface to keep the water clear and balanced.

Even natural springs running beneath the property had to be redirected and managed so the system could function properly.
What started as one of the most technically challenging projects imaginable is now a thriving ecosystem that blends seamlessly into the landscape.

Seven years later… the results speak for themselves.
