🪜🌻HOW TO MAKE A QUILT LADDER

Supplies: 4, redwood 2” X 2” eight (8’) foot boards (get the straightest boards possible)
12 , 2 ½” deck screws
Wood Glue
Sanding sponge
Paint or spray lacquer

Saw 1/8” off the end of your boards to get a nice flat, smooth surface. Mark the same distance on both boards where you want the top and each rung on the ladder. Cut the rungs and using wood glue and a deck screw, screw the rung onto the side where you have marked the board. Stand the side up so the rungs are standing up and using wood glue on the end of the rungs screw them down. Let the wood glue cure for a couple hours and use spray lacquer or paint your ladder to the finish you desire.

PRESSING TABLE CART

You can get the beefy wood legs for your tabletop from Lowes or Home Depot. They are premade for furniture. I screwed them on form the top of the table with a counter sink bit, then filled the hole. Cover the wood with at least 2 layers of cotton batting, then the heat resistant iron board cloth then a pretty fabric if you want. Sit this in the top of a three tier cart and you have an ironing station! 🪜🌻
