1. Putting booster EX2/ EX3 into operation
-Welding can begin once the operating temperature has been attained. Operate the WELDY drive on/off switch for this purpose, Operate the WELDY tool only when feed welding rod of 3 or 4mm diameter into the welding rod opening and allow a small amount plasticized material to escape.
-Direct the WELDY welding shoe to the welding zone.
Pre-warm the welding zone with back and forth movements.
-Carry out test welding and analysis.
-Adjust the hot air temperature using the air temperature potentiometer.


2. Changing of welding shoe
-Turn off the WELDY tool while warm and DISCONNECT from the power supply.
-Remove the WELDY welding shoe holder by unfastening the clamp screws from the extruder nozzle.
-Every time the welding shoe is changed, clean the extruder nozzle of welding residue and make sure that it is screwed in tightly.
-Remove WELDY welding shoe from the welding shoe holder by unfastening the fastening screws.
-Fasten the welding shoe, appropriate to the welding seam, onto the welding shoe holder with fastening screws, the welding shoe and welding shoe holder must be tightened properly with the clamp screws.
-Attach welding shoe unit to the extruder nozzle tightly by clamp screw.
