For this review of Eva, I’ll be real—I didn’t really feel like making it at first, since my Eva isn’t fully built. She’s only T1, I don’t even have her cards 😅. So most of what you’ll hear here is based on my own testing and speculation (I’d love to max her, but I just don’t have enough gems to pull; her pet looks amazing too 🥹). Everything from here on is just my personal opinion, not a 100% definitive answer. You can always check with other players for more info.
Anyway, let’s start. You can watch the clip first…
For those who already watched it, here’s the breakdown. I’ll talk about two main points:
1. Eva as a character.
2. The teams and content she works well with.
Starting with Eva herself—she’s very strong. Even though my testing is limited and my build is incomplete, she still shows great damage. And keep in mind, the characters I compared her to had a 30% elemental advantage (except Summer Merry). If she’s hitting a boss with elemental advantage, I’d say her damage is on par with Vivien—or maybe even higher. The difference is Vivien really shines only with CC/root setups, while Eva can pop off solo.
Her active skills have very short cooldowns, and her ultimate has a base cooldown of 34 seconds. But with Stimulation level 3, that drops to just 24 seconds. That’s insanely fast.
If I compare raw damage, Eva is about equal to Lohengrin (though they don’t fit in the same team). She’s stronger than Vivien (without root setups) and stronger than Lisa too. Not stronger than Tiamat overall, but in terms of pure damage output, with equal gear, she’s pretty much neck-and-neck with Tiamat. As for Lancelot… nah, not close 😅.
Her downsides? She only really shines when fully built at T5, which is a heavy investment. And honestly, her PvP performance isn’t great. Plus, she needs time to stack her Stimulation buff, so early on her damage feels weak. She’s better suited for longer fights—similar to Lancelot in that sense.
My conclusion: Eva is Tier S. Definitely one of the top DPS characters. She’s easy to use and very powerful, but also very expensive to build properly. From the card descriptions, I’d say her cards are basically mandatory too—but again, only if you can push her to T5.
Now, about teams and content:
I’ll show three team ideas at the end of the clip (these are just my own thoughts, not something you need to follow).
Tiamat team: my top recommendation.
Lisa team: great if you want to focus on attack speed. Both Lisa and Eva benefit a lot from attack speed buffs and pair well. For both these teams, you’ll need to fill one more slot with whoever you like.
Ran team: this one I haven’t tested yet, but I think it could be really fun. Ran deals more damage against Shocked enemies, and Eva applies Shock—so they’re a perfect combo. With this team, all roles are nicely covered.
And about pets: if you want Eva at her absolute best, use the Lohengrin pet for attack speed. Others can work too, but Lohengrin feels like the perfect match 😚.
If I made any mistakes, sorry about that. If you have questions, feel free to ask—I’ll be happy to answer, or just chat. Best of luck pulling Eva, and I hope you enjoy Lost Sword. Thanks for reading and watching 🙏🙏
