and also the true story portrayed in the upcoming Drama on Channel 4, 'Dirty Business'.
This series portrays a decade-long investigation into sewage contaminated water by Water Companies in Oxfordshire carried out by two neighbours,
a former police detective, and a Professor of Computational Biology, who notice fish in the local river are dying,
and receive help from a sewage plant whilstle blower.
The series also follows a family, Posy plays the mother, who lost an eight-year daughter due to E-coli poisoning after swimming in the sea where there had been a sewage outflow.
Lollipop is the story of Molly, (portrayed by Posy) a young woman released from prison, who struggles to regain custody of her children.
When she bumps into her childhood friend Amina, the two women soon realize their only chance is to join forces and take destiny into their own hands.
Posy Sterling (born 19 November 1992) is a British stage, television and film actress.
For her performance in the film Lollipop (2024), she earned a British Independent Film Award and a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination.
