What is Open Government?

We asked these questions to some of the participants of the Workshop "Next Stage in Open Government Data: Using Data for Transparency, Accountability and Collaboration", organized by the Division for Public Administration and Development Management (DPADM) of the United Nations Department of Economic and Social Affairs in cooperation with the Centre for Public Service Innovation (CPSI) of the Ministry for Public Service and Administration of the Republic of South Africa.

The meeting was held from 10-12 October 2012 in Cape Town, South Africa.
