This time we went for a night at the Onsen Hotel Wan Wan Takayama nearby Hirayu Onsen. The white landscape and the heavy snow were amazing, the Onsen bath outdoors (rotenburo) during snow fall was fun and relaxing, and the food was very good. Add to all of that a lot of fun playing at the snow and incredible mountain twisty roads with a Mazda3 and you have the perfect weekend Onsen Road Trip.
