Описание: This is another TV episode pilot we have had in our film archives for years. Mathew Dorn is a Doctor who rode with the Union Army during the civil war. He blames himself for many tragedies that happened during the war. He has come back south to try to help right some wrongs. The Yank western TV series episode pilot starring James Drury, Don Megowan, L.Q. Jones, John Sutton, Harry Townes, Donald Losby and John McIntire. Jame Drury was amazingly cast twice by two different studios to be The Virginian. The first time was for a pilot in 1958 and his character was completely different than the 1962 version. That aired from 1962 through 1971. Which made James Drury a household name that everyone knew. This pilot was made to be a companion to the very successful Rebel TV series starring Nick Adams. But The Rebel series was canceled so The Yank never aired. James was no stranger to westerns having been in many western movies and a guest star on many western television shows. This is a good pilot and would have been a very good series.
We released this on TheWesternsChannel.com on November 22 of 2018 and decided to go ahead and release it on our YT channel as well.
