Описание: This new acquisition of pom pom quartz from Minas Gerais, Brazil, is a remarkable, truly unique quartz crystal featuring golden, radiating acicular inclusions that resemble a fiery burst of light within the crystal. It is regarded as the second finest piece from the pocket, has a superb shape, stands on its own, and the multiple internal floral bursts are truly captivating. The term “pom pom” is used because these needle-like inclusions radiate outward from central points, forming rounded, spherical sprays that closely resemble pom poms suspended within the quartz. Scientifically, these inclusions have recently been identified as a rare combination of bassanite with cristobalite and minor anhydrite, marking the first time bassanite has ever been documented inside quartz.

The golden pom pom effect is breathtaking in person, with shimmering sprays that catch the light from every angle and create a vivid internal glow. The specimen is entirely natural and unenhanced, originating from a very limited find in northern Minas Gerais, Brazil.
