SET DOSA
There are many verity of dosas that are made regularly in South Indian kitchens.
Very soft, light and spongy dosa, these soft dosas are called as set dosa.
Set dosa is a very popular breakfast recipe.
Serve it hot with coconut chutney or sambar and sagu.
Ingredients:
2 cup rice
1 tsp fenugreek seed
1/2 cup flattened rice or poha
1 cup curd
Salt as per taste
Oil or ghee
Water
Method:
Soak the rice and fenugreek seed together for 5-6 hours.
Wash the rice and add in a jar.
Add flattened rice or poha.
Add water and make a smooth paste.
Now shift this batter in a bowl.
Add salt as per taste.
Add curd and mix it well.
Close the lid and keep a side for 6-7 hours or overnight.
After 7 hours mix the batter well.
Heat the dosa tawa and apply oil.
Now rub with a onion or tissue paper.
Pour the batter and apply some oil.
Close the lid and cook it.
Don't flip the dosa.
Cook it from only one side.
Like this make all the dosas.
Serve it hot with coconut chutney or sambar.
