Today we are saying goodbye to a form which was serving a consciousness, to a friend, a guard, a loyal spirit. There was a lot done to keep this body functional and able to carry on its duty with hope.

In the dark times came very bright moments, and in the bright times appeared darkness as well. And then the ultimate decision was made.

Sorry, dear friend, if it was not the time yet. Sorry, if it could have been done earlier, or much later as well. Maybe it was the right decision, maybe it was not. In the moment, how to know?

It is done now and nothing can change it anymore.

You don’t even know how similar your story is to what the temple is going through right now. The place where you grew up and the people you were surrounded with are also going to change and might never be the same again.

After enduring so many challenges, your time with us is ending. And just like with you, we could have carried ourselves differently through the complicated temple trials.

With our hands tied, it is not easy to act. With covered eyes, it is even harder to see. Fear held back our decisions and led our actions into mistakes.

Opened wounds might leave deep scars, requiring a long time to heal, visible as a reminder of the past. The essence of our way of life could only be carried in tolerance and inclusiveness to grow and seek clarity beside turbid intentions.

Despite the shadow cast, we still strive to preserve the ancient teachings and share it with every being with all our heart, from the depth of our understanding. We learnt from the best and the worst. And the path of wisdom carries our temple beyond.

We are grateful for the support you have given to our Community and the Masters for so many years. And we wish for you to stand strong with us and to continue your practice.
