Last Read 1: Father Material by Alexis Hall 4⭐️. This was a really sweet way to wrap up this series (assuming it concludes it?). I liked it a lot better than the second book, Husband Material. Luc started off a spaz but very quickly turned into a competent caregiver in a way I wasn’t fully expecting given how he’d been written. Oliver was as expected and I thought how they navigated his parenting style and how it changed their relationship was well done. The friend group was annoying so I think we saw the appropriate amount of them lol. Overall, I enjoyed this one!

The narrator did a good job too. I always worry with one male narrator for two male voices, but his portrayals were distinct.

Last Read 2: Hostile Territory by Marie James 3.5⭐️. This was fine. I liked all the characters, especially Deacon and his friends, except Danni. The resolution to her being missing was boring compared to all the trouble it took to find her. She was also unrealistically mean to Anna. I also don’t enjoy instalove endings (not a spoiler - you know I only read HEAs 😆).
