After thorough assessment of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Basilica Minore del Santo Niño de Cebu's Augustinian Friars have decided that all novena masses for the upcoming 457th Fiesta Señor celebration will be done virtually.
Also, no other religious activities will be conducted except for the motorcade procession as Opening Salvo on January 7, in lieu of the Penitential Walk with Jesus, and the Visperas Motorcade Procession around the cities of Cebu, Talisay, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu and the municipality of Cordova on January 15, 2022 in lieu of the Solemn Foot Procession.
