Aakriti is a dedicated climate activist and a young voice in the climate action movement. She is affiliated with the Nepalese Youth for Climate Action (NYCA), where she serves as the Network Coordinator (previously Green Discussion Coordinator) for this coalition of youth and youth groups focused on climate challenges. Driven by her deep passion for environmental issues, which has informed her academic and professional journey, she aims to leverage the Incubator program to boost youth participation in climate accountability initiatives. As a catalyst, Aakriti actively promotes dialogues and conversations among young people on climate action.
Accountability Incubator is the flagship program of Accountability Lab that supports young people with their idea to build sustainable, effective tools for accountability, participation, and open government. It provides a non-prescriptive, yet supportive environment for creative, enterprising individuals who bring innovative ideas to inspire accountability in their communities.
These selected “Accountapreneurs” receive a year of hands-on, comprehensive support including: training and knowledge-building, mentoring, network building, and media outreach support based on their needs and requirements.
