Step 1: Clean the Welt
Brush the welt with a clean welt brush.
Step 2: Apply Wax Polish
Apply a moderate amount of neutral wax polish using the welt brush.
Step 3: Allow Wax to Dry
After the wax polish dries, remove the excess wax with a clean brush.
Step 4: Apply Edge Dressing
Apply a thin layer of edge dressing with a chamois cloth or your fingertip, in the shades closes to the sole edge or heel color.
Final Step: Remove Excess Edge Dressing
Allow edge dressing to dry, then moderately brush the welts, sole edges, and heels.
