ACTIVITY FACTOR
1: Sedentary = 1.2
2: Lightly Active = 1.375
3: Moderate = 1.55
4: Active = 1.725
5: Very Active = 1.9
I explain in the video of knowing where your activity level might be, and using the link above will find your Basal Metabolic Rate. After knowing those 2 number it becomes very easy after that. You will simply multiply them to find your maintenance daily calorie total.
Depending on your goal if you need to gain weight or lose weight this number will change. I forgot to mention in the video, but if you are wanting to gain weight you will simply up the calories by about 500. If you are wanting to lose weight you will lower the calories by 500. I use the number 500 because their is 3,500 calories in a pound, so in a week time that should equal about 1 pound.
In our example in the video for weight gain, instead of 3,000 calories you would do 3,500 calories. For weight loss, you would do 2,500.
