Описание: Stock DiMarzio versus Bare Knuckle Holy Divers!

This is my demo of the pickup swap as I found the Standard DiMarzio humbuckers a bit hot and muddy when played clean. With high gain they sounded great but I wasn't enjoying playing more restrained stuff on the Axis.

So in went Bare Knuckle Holy Divers - a set in reverse zebra just like the originals and in 4 wire configuration with the same mounting options.

I did a demo of the guitar before the swap, a description of the wiring and a demo after swapping with a conclusion for you in case you are considering such a move.

I am using my re-valved Mesa Boogie as measured in my Maxi Matcher 2 video and played clean, with chords and overdriven. Tung Sol 6L6GC STR courtesy of Watford Valves.

To compare, pick out the chapters and go back and forth to see the differences (if any). I have recorded this straight into my Presonus Studio 68C with no added processing on the guitar track, just my Zilla 12" cab with an SM57 on the side of the cone.
