I had planned to spend one-third to half of the recording time on synthesis, as I mentioned before. However, I became so absorbed in the process that I ended up spending my whole time just trying to create Ryza's third weapon. I was surprised by how many ingots it required (realization at 14:58 - 18:47). I think I might do another full synthesis day again in the future.
On the bright side, I learned a lot from this synthesis day. I came to understand that the attack charge+ is superior because it offers a stackable bonus of 30, compared to the original 15. I also gained a clearer understanding of transferable traits for equipment. Offensive traits can be transferred to weapons, and the same goes for armor and accessories respectively.
I'm not entirely sure about transferring effects, but it seems that when a recipe is morphed into the same category, it retains its previous effect when activated. For example, the "tiny traveler" effect from the handmade staff is now available for the new Grim Quartz weapon (23:33).
I also discovered that I can synthesize the necessary materials from the material loop screen (14:58). Unfortunately, after synthesizing, it does not take me back to the previous state. Lastly, I have come to understand the role of each character from their weapon. I tested Ryza's (33:44), but it is clear that her weapon gives more attacker role level. The same goes for Tao's weapon. Lent's weapon is a combination of attacker and defender roles, while Klaudia's is clearly meant for support (34:14).
While it may not be the best weapon, the new synthesized weapon is definitely an improvement from my previous one when equipped (33:16).
