Prince Harry’s friend and double-amputee war veteran Ben McBean says his disabled badge was taken away from him because he ran the London Marathon for charity.
“They took it off me because I proved I could run!”
The Royal Marine veteran joins Kevin O’Sullivan and Alex Phillips after his application was rejected.
Speaking on X (formerly known as Twitter), Mr McBean raised awareness of the issue:
“FFS 🤦♂️. At least I haven’t broken my ankle 💀. I’ll try prove I have a disability another time. Have a good day everyone.”
Prince Harry called Ben a “real hero” after they shared an RAF flight back from the Afghanistan war zone in 2008.
