Senior Content Designer at Studio Louter Eline Koning talks to TBIH's Gabriela da Rocha about The Ship of Dreams project at Titanic Belfast. It won the F@IMP Claude Nicole Hocqard Grand Prize of AVICOM in 2023.
Since 2012, Titanic Belfast has been telling the story of the world's most famous passenger ship on the spot where it was built. Now, an ambitious makeover aims to connect future generations to Titanic’s story. Visitor input guided the project, shaping a sensory and immersive design. Amid the immersive trend, the challenge was to make the experience meaningful and tell a story; to go further than just the wow-effect. Using Studio Louter’s Emotion Design method, the team combined innovative technology with emotional storytelling to captivate visitors on a deeper level.
