The old venerable stadium that was once called The Polo Grounds is long gone. But, I wanted to pay homage to the site of one of one of the greatest baseball games ever played and see if I could feel any of the old magic. I revisit Bobby Thomson's home run to seal the Giants improbable pennant win over the Dodgers in 1951. On a quiet night in the boroughs of New York City, you can sometimes still hear the "shot heard 'round the world."
