One of the greatest days in Maverick's history took place on February 4, 2016. I was shooting stills from the cliffs with a new 500mm lens and my trusty Nikon d810. Surfing Magazine published a video of the day and wrote, "Rash claims are a dime a dozen these days in the media, but we think it’s pretty safe to say that yesterday, Thursday, February 4th, was some of the best Maverick’s that has ever been recorded. #mavericks #bigwavesurfing #surfing #mavs #jimnevill #bigwaves #perfect #halfmoonbay
