Verse 1
In the garden, oh so green,
God said, “Adam, come and see!
All the animals, big and small,
Now it’s your turn to name them all!”
Chorus
He said, “Giraffe, you’re tall and neat,
And Elephant, you’re big and sweet!
Zebra, with your stripes of black and white,
And Kangaroo, you hop so light!”
Verse 2
A lion roared, a monkey swung,
A parrot squawked, a frog just sprung!
God said, “Adam, what’s their name?”
Adam thought, then played the game:

“Hippo, you’re a water king,
Owl, you make the night-time sing!
Snake, you slither on the ground,
And Rabbit, hop around, hop around!”

All the animals laughed with cheer,
“Adam’s naming us, let’s give a cheer!”
