If your fine or thin hair feels dry, brittle, tangled, or prone to breakage, even with a good routine, hard water could be the hidden cause.
In this video, I explain how hard water and mineral build-up affect fine hair, why it leads to dryness and breakage, and the gentle, lightweight fixes that actually help. If you’ve ever wondered whether your shower water is damaging your hair, this will help you understand what’s really happening.
I also share my personal experience moving from Australia to Malta, and how understanding hard water completely changed the way my fine hair behaved.
This is not about adding more products. It’s about understanding your environment and working with your hair, not against it.

🌿 Gentle Ritual Mention
If installing a shower filter is not practical, I often rinse my hair with about 2 litres of drinking water in a tub, sometimes finishing with a splash of sparkling water.
This simple ritual noticeably reduced dryness, tangles, and breakage while living in Malta’s hard water.
