Ingredients:
1 can Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
4 oz cream cheese, softened
4–5 tbsp guava paste (softened slightly for easier spreading)
1 egg (optional, for egg wash)
Optional: powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375°F.
Roll out the crescent dough. Use a pizza cutter or a sharp knife to cut each triangle in half lengthwise for a total of 32 triangles.
Spread a thin, even layer of cream cheese over the widest part of each triangle.
Add an even layer of softened guava paste on top of the cream cheese.
Roll up each one, starting at the widest part of the triangle and rolling to opposite point.
Arrange the pieces on a baking sheet in the shape of a Christmas tree.
Brush lightly with egg wash (optional).
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar if desired, and serve warm.
