HEALTHY BREAKFASTS | Earl Grey Tea Soaked Prunes With Greek Yoghurt And Pecans

This healthy breakfast can be made in advance and stored in the fridge for up to a week. If you haven't stewed prunes before, then we urge you to give it ago. Sweet and juicy, you will be as smitten as we are. And in case you didn't know - embarrassingly we didn't find out until recently - a prune is simply a dried plum, in the same way a raisin is a dried grape. Eat with cereal and yoghurt.
Recipe
450 g prunes
150g caster sugar
6 earl grey tea bags
orange peel (not the white bits)
300 ml water
Over a medium heat, add sugar and orange peel to the water and being up to the boil until the sugar dissolves. Add and the prunes. Turn the heat down and cook for 20m. Turn off. Cool and store in the fridge.
