Kevin Miranda, a Long Beach, California native, tells his story of his journey into finding a passion for shaping surfboards. At the age of 22 he has been shaping boards for almost 4 years now after always being around surfing and art growing up. Shaping boards is a way for Kevin to put his artistic expression into the art of surfing.
This film wouldn't have been possible without the help from Spencer Shipman (Camera Operator), Nate Ipanag (Audio Tech), and Kevin Miranda (Shaper/Talent).
The film was shot entirely on Blackmagic Pocket 6k Pro and 6k with Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 and Canon 70-200mm f/2.8. Underwater shots were filmed with Gopro Hero 10. Edited in Premiere pro and color graded in Davinci Resolve.
