TOOLS NEEDED:
You will need a Philips screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, or a plastic trim removal tool. Lastly, you'll need a 10mm socket wrench for the mirror nuts.

PROCESS:
This replacement process is very simple and common across most vehicles. Unfortunately, we do have to pop the door panel for this Infiniti QX50 but it's pretty easy to do. There are two bolts that secure this door panel. One is behind the door handle, the other is in the center of the armrest, and both of them have plastic covers. Use your plastic trim removal tool or flat-head screwdriver to pry the caps. If you use the flat-head, be careful not to damage the plastic. Remove the nuts or bolts. To remove the door panel, you have to pull it out from the bottom and push it up. The top part of the panel hooks over the door by the glass. Just let the door panel dangle but if you like more work, you can completely remove it. We like to work smarter, not harder. Now you have to pop off the tweeter and plastic door trim. Gently pull it from the door but be careful and don't lose the clips. Now that you have the nuts exposed, you can remove them with your 10mm socket wrench. Do not unplug the wire until the nuts are removed. The wire will hold the mirror and stop it from falling. Remove the mirror and replace it with your brand new, painted ReveMoto mirror. This part of the install should be super easy because you already know what to do. You'll want to check the functionality of the mirror before you completely secure it. You wouldn't want to do this whole process again because the mirror is faulty. Don't worry, our mirrors are the best and we guarantee them. Secure the mirror and now you are all finished!
