"What is the thing that is making you sit up and take notice? Because your body and your brain will always tell you, and it's about paying attention to those signs so that you don't have a moment like you had or a moment like I had, where it just really comes to a head."

"Again, the strategy is not to berate yourself and say, oh, why? Why did I stay up till two in the morning? That's terrible. Because then you'll do it again the next night and next night, and then you feel again, we talked about, right, like, that sense of agency or self efficacy. It erodes, and then we feel bad about ourself, and then that inner critic shows up, and then, because we're not sleeping well, we might snack at eating something late at night. So it's just a vicious cycle."

"Our brains and our bodies need a respite. You need to come down so you can have stress, and your brain and body will be great at responding to it, but then you need a period of just calmness."
