Chinese Calligraphy and Ink Grinding ASMR

Описание: Relax as I show you a few things and then grind some ink and resume practicing some Chinese Calligraphy.

I recently acquired a stick of Chinese stick ink and a small ink stone in which to grind it. This is my second attempt at the art of Chinese calligraphy. One thing is evident...I have much to learn.

In China, calligraphy is referred to as Shūfǎ which literally means the way, or method of writing. I certainly found the whole process of grinding the ink and then brushing it onto some paper, to be extremely relaxing. There is an order that the strokes are to made in and as a beginner, I only have a faint idea of what I'm doing. I plan to do a series of these videos perhaps I'll learn along the way and be able to memorize not only the symbols themselves, but also the order of the brush strokes used to create each. Nevertheless, I found this to be very relaxing and I hope you find that the video brings you calmness and perhaps sleep.

My videos are best enjoyed using headphones or earbuds.

The videos on my YouTube channel portray some of the typical day-to-day activities that I do for relaxation. This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities.
